School Site Council

We currently have no volunteers for our School Site Council. We are looking for five volunteers currently for this hour long monthly meeting. Very minimal commitment to have a big impact on the school.

The group meets monthly on the third Wednesday of the month from 2:45-3:45. They discuss school programs and the development of our Local Control and Accountability Plan. Parent voices and participation is essential for the continuous improvement of our school. 

Additionally, we are looking for the following representatives: District Advisory Council (DAC), English Language Advisory Council (ELAC), Special Education District Advisory Council (SEDAC), Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) to represent Cypress Elementary School at monthly district wide meetings. This is a great opportunity to learn what is happening at other schools and share the many great things we have taking place at our school.
